During the new national lockdown from Thursday 5th November, Orthosmile will remain OPEN for existing and new patients.
Before visiting any of our practices, please ensure that the answer to all the questions below is NO:
- Have you tested positive for COIVD-19 in the last seven days?
- Are you waiting on a COVID-19 test or the results?
- Do you have any of the following symptoms; new continuous cough, high temperature or fever, loss of or change in sense of smell or taste?
- Do you live with someone who has either tested positive for COIVD-19 or has had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
How will things look in practice?
- Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or living with someone who has COVID-19 symptoms must NOT attend the practice. If you require emergency dental care please call 111 for them to triage you.
- You will only be allowed into the premises at the time of your appointment.
- Depending on how many patients we have in the waiting area, we may ask you to wait outside until we can establish a safe social distance between patients.
- You are not allowed to bring an accompaniment unless absolutely crucial. Parents, we ask that if your child is old enough, that they attend their appointment alone and you wait outside the premises. And for siblings, that they do not arrive together, and that they enter the premises at the time of their individual appointment.
- You will be encouraged to use hand sanitiser as you enter the practice and your temperature will be checked.
- For the safety of our patients, our lavatories will be closed for the time being.
