The Private Dentistry Awards is one of the most prestigious occasions to recognise excellence in private dentistry in the UK and Ireland.
The Private Dentistry Awards are presented by FMC, an award-winning dental communications company. This is the major ceremony to formally recognise excellent private dentistry being carried out by teams and individuals throughout the UK and Ireland.
These awards help a practice to stand out from the crowd and highlights their achievements, so of course Orthosmile needed to enter! This was our first time ever applying to The Private Dentistry Awards, so we were exceptionally overjoyed to learn that we were finalists in not one, but four categories, and all the categories we applied in! The four categories were Best Team, Best Referral Practice, Best Patient Care and Best New Practice for our brand new Earl’s Court location that opened in May 2019.
With testimonials such as; “This has honestly been one of the best experiences coming to this clinic. Not only are the staff at front desk extremely helpful, direct, and most importantly, friendly, the dentists are very kind, compassionate and trustworthy. I cannot express how thankful I am and how much this place has truly helped me gained so much confidence in changing something as simple as a smile. For Best Team our application also demonstrated a great team atmosphere and approach to patient care; an investment in team development and training; Orthosmile’s dedication to standing out from the competition; that our team goes above and beyond the regular duty of care and Orthosmile’s engagement with the local community and charity endeavours.
Our application for Best Referral Practice demonstrated our commitment to our practices and patients as well as staff career pathways and advancement. Once again our excellent team atmosphere, the extra smile we go for staff and Dr Alimadadian’s considerations and efforts for the staff helped secure our nomination in this category.
Orthosmile’s application for Best Patient Care not only included the marketing and aftercare literature our patients are so familiar with, but also photographic examples of our clinical excellence. It was so hard to choose from all our before and after photos of beautiful smiles! But what truly clinched the nomination for us, were the testimonials, examples of patient satisfaction and the thank you letters that we submitted. The fact that at Orthosmile we have treated entire families, the children of our referring dentists and now the children of ex-patients who had treatment with us as children, is testament in itself that Orthosmile provides excellent patient care.
With having opened a brand new state of the art practice in Earl’s Court this year in May, naturally we entered the category of Best New Practice. Equipped with the very latest in dental technology and beautifully designed, our Earl’s Court branch continues the Orthosmile ethos in providing the very best in patient care.
The Private Dentistry Awards were held in the spectacular ballroom at The Royal Lancaster hotel in London. The Orthosmile Team had a wonderful night at the award ceremony, and it was a fitting way to celebrate towards the end of the year after all our hard work and dedication throughout the year. Although we did not win any awards, it was fantastic to be recognised for our hard work by our peers and we extend our congratulations and warmest wishes to all the worthy winners, you proved excellent competition!
